IT Hardware Sales Executives - Jakarta Raya


1. DIRECT Sales:
  • Managing business relationships with existing as well as lead customers.
  • Conducting regular research and develop strategies to determine effective product/solution packaging with competitive pricing.
  • Searching for new clients who could benefit from IT HW server and storage products and when needed combine with software Solutions.
  • Leading all tender initiatives, from inception till closing of the sale, including Costing, pricing and preparation of quotations.
  • Leading all sales activities, from requirement analysis, solution presentations to the ensuing sales calls and sales closing activities
  • Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education.
  • Liaising and provide leadership to other members of the sales team and other technical experts
2. CHANNEL Sales:
  • Identify channels such as dealers and VARs (Value Added Resellers) to sell IT-HW server and Storage products
  • Negotiate quarterly quota of IT HW sales and related discount schemes
  • Manage Channel conflicts
  • Develop marketing campaigns to support the identified channels
  • Develop the branding of the IT HW server and storage products
  • A combined sales and technical background. Familiarity with HW products from HP, SUN, IBM is an advantage.
  • At least 5-year experience in HW sales with annual sales volumes of 1 million US$ above
  • Familiar with IT-HW server and Storage sales channels to steer dealers and Value Added Resellers.
  • Speak and write English well. Knowledge of Mandarin would be a plus.
  • Sound judgment, good business sense and negotiation skills.
  • Self-propelled in taking initiatives within broadly set guidelines
  • Natural ability to build relationships to connect with clients quickly and get the deals closed.
