Atlas ResourcesFirst established in 2007, PT Atlas Resources Tbk is acknowledged as a recognized Indonesian producer of coal. In the course of its business over the past five years, the Company has achieved rapid business growth, with this growth achieved through acquisitions, exploration and development, with the initial focus on smaller scale regional coal concessions.

The growth of the Company’s business demonstrates both the success of the Company’s endeavours to diversify the location of its coal production sites to enable it produce a diverse range of products and to implement a number of other corporate strategies. In the initial stages of its operation, the Company was engaged in a number of activities, including exploratory activities in the Berau Bara Energi (BBE) concession in the Berau Hub to find sources for the production of thermal coal.
It also conducted exploratory activities in the Diva Kencana Borneo (DKB) concession in the Kubar Hub to find sources for the production of high calorie coal and metallurgical coal. Later, the Company acquired Hanson Energy, which operates the Oku Hub. The Company’s expanded its mining assets with the acquisition of the Gorby Group, which is now known as the Muba Project, and of Optima Persada Energi (OPE), which owns six mining concessions and two subsidiaries that operate in the field of logistics. Through these strategic actions, the Company has expanded its scale of coal production.

At present, the Company holds numerous mining concessions covering a total area more than 200.000 Ha. The Company’s exploratory and production activities are conducted through five hubs, as follows:

Kukar Hub, which consists of two mining concessions located in Kutai Kartanegara district, East Kalimantan, covering a total area of nearly 2,500 Ha. This hub produces thermal coal, metallurgical coal and high-calorie thermal coal.

Berau Hub, which consists of four mining concessions located in Berau district, East Kalimantan, covering a total area of nearly 20,000 Ha. This hub produces thermal coal, metallurgical coal and high-calorie thermal coal.

Kubar Hub, which consists of three mining concessions located in West Kutai district, East Kalimantan, covering a total area of nearly 15,000 Ha. This hub produces metallurgical coal and high-calorie thermal coal.

Oku Hub, which consists of three concessions located in South Sumatra, covering a total area of 23,840 Ha. This hub produces low-calorie steam coal in order to fulfil the demand of domestic market. powerplant and facility in India, Kores, China and others.

Muba Hub, which consists of five concessions covering a total area of more than 41,000 Ha in Musi Rawas district and Musi Banyuasin district, South Sumatra. This hub produces thermal coal in order to meet the demand of new generation powerplant.

Papua Hub, which consists of two concessions covering a total area of 100,000 Ha. This hub is currently being developed for future activities.

In order to support the development of its business and to strengthen its capital structure, in November 2011, the Company conducted an Initial Public Offering of 650 million shares with a nominal value of Rp1,500 per share. Since this point, shares in the Company have been traded on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) under the ticker code ARII.

Through its subsidiary, PT Hanson Energy, the Company entered into a coal sales agreement with PT PLN (Persero) to supply coal to PLTU 3 Banten (Teluk Naga) in September 2012 and to PLTU Sumatera Barat (Teluk Sirih) in November 2013. These contracts demonstrate the high level of trust that the Company has won on domestic markets for the quality of its products.

PURCHASING SUPERINTENDENT / MANAGER (PSM)

Reporting To: Commercial Services Manager

Main Responsibilities:
To manage, supervise, coordinate and delegate task off supplier and contractor management in purchasing department.
• Set up purchasing system and procedure, monitor and evaluate its implementation to ensure all the process is optimized and productivity is maximised.
• Enforce and where necessary develop company policies and procedures and ensure compliance.

Job Specifications:
• Minimum Bachelor Degree in Mechanical/Civil/Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 5 years Managerial level experiences.
• Excellent in analysis and negotiation skill with supplier and contractor.

PURCHASING SUPERVISOR (PS)

Reporting To: Purchasing Superintendent

Main Responsibilities:
Provides assistance managing the activities of the central purchasing department and management services. Responsibilities entail accountability based on measurable cost effective results for the substance, efficiency, productivity and quality.

Job Specifications:
• Minimum Bachelor Degree in Mechanical/Civil/Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 3 years as Purchasing Supervisor.
• Excellent in analysis and negotiation skill with supplier and contractor.
• Strong administration, communication and leadership
• Base in Jakarta Head Office

PURCHASING OFFICER (PO)

Reporting To: Purchasing Supervisor

Main Responsibilities:
Handle all purchasing daily activity and procedure, monitor and evaluate its implementation to ensure all the process is optimized and productivity is maximised. Purchase all material with right quality, quantity and time at the best of possible prices.

Job Specifications:
• Minimum Bachelor Degree in Mechanical/Civil/Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 3 years as Purchasing Officer.
• Good in negotiation skill with supplier and contractor.
• Strong communication and administration.
• Base in Jakarta Head Office

MINE SUPERINTENDENT (MST)

Reporting To: Project Manager

Main Responsibilities:
To plan and manage operational activities including all aspects of mining and transporting overburden and coal/quarry in order to achieve company’s operational targets effectively and efficiently in accordance with HSE standards.
• Set up production strategy, monitor and evaluate its implementation to ensure utilization level of mining equipment is optimized and productivity is maximised.
• Monitor and control all activities within the Mine including transportation to Coal/Quarry Processing Plant.
• Enforce and where necessary develop company policies and procedures and ensure compliance.
• Provide leadership and development to the operational team.

Job Specifications:
• Minimum Bachelor Degree
• Minimum 3 yrs experience as a Mine Superintendent
• Required Competencies: Mining Operations Management, Mine Planning, Operational Safety, Health, and Environmental Management
• Excellent communication, leadership, people development and managerial skills
• Rostered Position based in South Sumatra
• Have a mining operational certification (preferable POM)

SR. MINE PLAN (SMP)

Reporting To: Mine Manager

Main Responsibilities:
To plan, manage and monitor the process of the preparation of the annual plan for the design of the mine (Mine Plan) base on the geological model of the geologist taking into account the safety aspects of the mining process (eg slope/ steepness of mining land, etc

Job Specifications:
• Minimum Bachelor Degree in Mining
• Minimum 5 years supervisory level experiences in the same field.
• Good knowledge to plan and design with MINESCAPE, Minex & XPac mining software. Good ability to make mining plan / design / review short term / long term plan.
• Have mining operational certification (POP)
• Excellent communication, leadership, people development and managerial skills
• Rostered Position based in South Sumatra

MINE ENGINEER (ME)

Reporting To: Mine Superintendent

Main Responsibilities:
Assist Mine Superintendent in mining planning short-term (weekly and monthly). Set the realization of the achievement of the target mining progress based mine planning.
• Set up Make mine planning in the short term (Weekly, and Monthly).
• Coordination with mine operation team in terms of the process of achieving the target as planned quarry mining.
• To evaluate coal reserves and production targets either in quality or quantity.
• Create reports (Daily, Weekly, and Monthly) regarding the production and analysis of mining.

Job Specifications:
• Minimum Bachelor Degree in Mining
• Minimum 3 years supervisory level experiences in the same field.

To undertake operational and maintenance activities associated with coal/quarry processing plants and mechanical maintenance of both fixed and mobile assets. Achievement of company’s operational targets effectively and efficiently in accordance with HSE standards.
• Set up maintenance strategy, maintenance plans, monitor and evaluate its implementation to ensure availability level of fixed plant and mobile mining equipment is optimized and maximised.
• Monitor and control all activities relating to Fixed Plant and Mobile Equipment Maintenance.
• Enforce and where necessary develop company policies and procedures and ensure compliance.
• Provide leadership and development to the operational team.

Job Specifications:
• Minimum Bachelor Degree
• Minimum 3 yrs experience as a CPP Superintendent
• Required Competencies: Fixed and Mobile Equipment Maintenance Management, Maintenance Planning, Crushing Plant Operations, Operational Safety, Health, and Environmental Management

MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR (MS)

MAINTENANCE PLANNER (MP)

Reporting to: Commercial Services Manager

Main Responsibilities:
To develop and maintain maintenance planning strategy associated with coal processing plants and mobile mining equipment.
• Set up maintenance strategy, maintenance plans, monitor and evaluate its implementation to ensure availability level of mining equipment and facilities are optimized and productivity is maximised.
• Develop project parts warehousing systems to improve overall maintenance practice.
• Audit all maintenance activities on mining projects.

Job Specifications:
• Minimum Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 5 yrs experience as a Maintenance Planner for a first class Mining Company or Contractor
• Required Competencies: Fixed and Mobile Equipment Maintenance Management, Maintenance Planning, Equipment Management.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, analytical and organizational skills
• Jakarta Head Office based with frequent project travel
