Drilling Engineer - Talent Management (TM/D&C/D&W/PHEONWJ/J/1013/01)
To perform design and monitoring execution of drilling & workover programs (including technology application, specification of materials and equipments, budget proposal) as well as provide technical evaluation during tender process and project close out, in order to ensure all drilling & workover programs are delivered in accordance with company’s targets (including well delivery, HSSE standards, budget) and government regulations.

Responsibilities :
  • To perform specific field studies among all company’s areas for data collection and analysis in relation to drilling & workover programs, in order to ensure best engineering and operations application to be applied accordingly.
  • To perform proposal design of drilling & workover programs (including new technology application, specification of materials and equipments, operating procedures, budget proposal) with other relevant parties (such as Contractors, Sub Surface, Facilities Integrity, Operations, HSSE), in order to ensure optimum, safely, effective and efficient implementation of drilling & workover programs.
  • To provide technical evaluation during tender process in terms of scope of works, materials and equipment specification, technical evaluation of contractor candidates, in order to ensure quality and effective drilling services in support of drilling & workover programs.
  • To work together with Well Preparation Team in preparing platform IM clearance, in order to ensure readiness of platform facilities prior to rig arrival.
  • To perform monitoring and controlling of drilling & workover programs among all company’s areas with other relevant parties (such as Contractors, Sub Surface, Facilities Integrity, Operations, HSSE), including provision of trobleshooting solutions, in order to ensure all drilling & workover programs are delivered in accordance with company’s targets (including well delivery, HSSE standards, budget) and government regulations.
  • To perform review and evaluation of post drilling & workover programs and coordinate with other relevant parties (such as Sub Surface, Facilities Integrity, Operations, HSSE and service contractors) in developing appropriate solutions, in order to ensure no recurrent problems in next drilling & workover programs.
  • To provide technical explanation to government authorities (SKKMIGAS) in relation to problems during project execution, in order to ensure smooth AFE close out process and optimum cost recovery target.
  • To prepare budget assumptions and parameters in relation to development of AFE proposal, in order to ensure prompt approval from government authorities (SKKMIGAS) and optimum accuracy with actual cost.
  • To perform evaluation of key performance indicators of drilling & workover operations, in order to ensure the achievement of drilling & workover program targets.
  • To define the requirement of materials of drilling & workover programs, in order to ensure well preparation and justification of drilling & workover program budget.
  • To develop drilling lesson learned materials and drilling studies as part of knowledge and expertise transfer to all relevant parties, in order to ensure better capabilities of drilling & workover people and improve next drilling & workover programs.
Educational Background:
Bachelor degree in Petroleum or Mechanical Engineering
Experience:
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in drilling and completion engineering and usage of equipment and drilling systems
Others:
  • Must be able to keep abreast with new techniques and equipment
  • Must have capability to conduct objective analysis of drilling problems and facilitate issues between departments in order to provide solutions and practical judgment

Perform preparation and development of Electrical analysis and recommendation to ensure the availability of the required information, data, and study for Arch Flash and Electrical Power Protection in accordance to the company’s standards, policies, and budgets.

Responsibilities :

  • Review the specifications and designs proposed by contractors to ensure the compliance with the company’s standards and budgets.

Perform all general accounts process, including preparation of debit notes, intercompany and inter venture reconciliation, Non Trade Receivables handling, bank reconciliation, Request for SKKMIGAS Working Fund Replenishment as well as recording of accruals, corrections, and reversal entries, in order to ensure all general accounts are properly maintained at current status.

Responsibilities :
  • To check, reconcile, and follow up all general accounts (suspense, prepaid, advances to contractors, security bond, retentions, claims and sundry receivables, and others which are not maintained by Account Payables, Treasury, Tax, Fixed Assets & Materials, and Reporting Team) in order to ensure all accounts are properly maintained and the balances are correct.
  • To prepare debit notes of Non Trade Receivables and Material Transfer amongst PSCs, in order to ensure all debit notes are complete in support of timely and proper payments.
  • To perform intercompany and inter venture reconciliation (including oil and gas intercompany receipts), in order to ensure accurate and timely payments as well as accurate intercompany balance.
  • To maintain aging schedule for Non Trade Receivables and Intercompany, in order to ensure there is no long outstanding balance.
  • To prepare write off proposal of Account Receivables for SKKMIGAS, in order to ensure optimum recoverability.
  • To coordinate and facilitate Group auditors during audit works, in order to ensure audit works run timely, smoothly and properly.
  • To review regular bank reconciliation, in order to ensure all bank transactions are valid and correctly recorded.
  • To prepare Request for SKKMIGAS Working Fund Replenishment, in order to ensure proper balance at SKKMIGAS.
  • Prepare and check proper and timely recording of accruals, corrections, and reversal entries in order to have accurate and appropriate financial data records.
