PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia, Tbk. (TELKOM) is the biggest telecommunication, information, media and edutainment (TIME) provider in Indonesia. TELKOM provided its first services on 23 October 1856 when the first telegraph was send from Batavia (Jakarta) to Buitenzorg (Bogor). During this longtime service, TELKOM has been through many transformations.
Our last transformation called NEW TELKOM Indonesia is four aspects transformation, consists of business transformation, infrastructure transformation, system and operation model transformation and human resources transformation. It has been officially launched in concordance with TELKOM’s New Corporate Identity in TELKOM’s 153rd anniversary on 23 October 2009 with new tagline “The World in Your Hand”.
Cooperative Academic Education Program (CO-OP), an integrated program of study work that officially provided by TELKOM Indonesia with Subsidiaries (PT. TELKOMSEL and PT. Infomedia) in collaboration with Education Industry in order to create a synergistic atmosphere between educational institution, research and the industry.
The program is only available for student from Registered University, which means the university has already cooperated with TELKOM Indonesia. Benefits are offered to the CO-OP student and among them are recorded on the list of CO-OP Alumni which will be used as a recruitment database candidate, obtain an honorarium and awarded by CO-OP Certificate.
The next CO-OP will be officially opened on June 1st, 2010 until August 31st, 2010.
There are 6 (six) general requirement to follow for applying CO-OP. All of them are listed below.
The procedure to apply CO-OP is not directly send the application to TELKOM Indonesia, the applicant should submit the application and related documents to the university. Administration Selection Process will be held on March 26th, 2010 by university. After that, if the applicant passes the Administration Selection Process, the applicant will go through Interview and Writing Test that will be provided by TELKOM Indonesia and DPPK on April 2010 until May 2010. If you pass TELKOM Indonesia’s Selection Process, your university will directly inform you.
The second program is called Praktek Kerja Lapangan (PKL). For PKL, student from any university are allowed to send the application to TELKOM Indonesia anytime and must be attached with cover letter from your university. There are general requirements to follow for applying PKL and two of them are listed below.
PKL is required student to make a research in TELKOM Indonesia and provide final report to us for assessment.
Regarding to statement above, previous applications for CO-OP that already received will not be processed because all applications have violated TELKOM Indonesia procedure for the program. However, to applicant who feel fit with the requirements above, please contact the registered university and submit the application one more time. Thank you for your good understanding.
